This house, completed in 2004, sits on a small lot within the National Seashore. The architects decided to develop only the portion of the landscape that was disturbed by the construction of the house. The remainder of the property has been left in the native oak, pine, mayflower, winterberry, bearberry, huckleberry, and bayberry.

The developed portion of the landscape is conceived as an extension of the house, and consists of four rooms. The gravel parking platform, a lower level entry courtyard of pine needles bounded by a native stone wall, a deck with a wisteria covered pergola for dining behind the house, and a lawn area bounded by a hedge for children's play.
