This building of six condominium apartments (shown in yellow in the rendering) is based on the 3-family, wood framed triple-decker buildings that are common throughout Boston. The composition consists of two 3 story apartment blocks, joined at the center with the elevator and stair access towers. Each group of 3 apartments has 3 parking spaces at the entry level, and all apartments are accessible to the handicapped.

The scale and appearance of the building is based on the context of the block on which it sits. Roofline and gables are sized to match the two structures next door. Details of the wood frame construction of the early 20th Century are used in this new building, as requested and encouraged by the Jamaica Plain neighborhood review panel that reviewed and approved the construction.
